March 14th racing action

Today was supposed to be warm. It ended warm but was 25* for the 9am race!

The cold wasn't going to stop CCR though! Gregg, Dillon & Joe P set out to do the 4/5 race at Plainville, and did it they did!

Pretty normal race except for the last lap when Gregg Ferraris proved that brains gets you wins. He single-handedly pulled Dillon & Joe around the last lap in a killer lead out. A lead out so effective that even Dillon (although leading out Joe P) got 4th and Joe P won the field Sprint! But alas, one lone rider was, unbeknown to us, up the road and took up the 1st spot.

Joe P *2nd*
Dillon P. *4th*
Gregg F. *Most killer lead out!*

The 3/4 race had our boys Maison, Ken and Joe P.
This race was pretty much owned by the cyclo-nuts... and rightly so cuz there was, like, 10 of em in that race. That's how it goes some times.

Next week. more 4/5 points and some 3/4 revenge!

Comments:
Any comments on the alleged 'dangerous' riding by cyclonauts at the end of the 3/4/ race?

I'm not looking to squabble, I just want an honest opinion.

I didn't see the antics first hand but I did hear they got in a bit of a scuffle.

The bottom line about the Cyclonauts is that they're the real life embodiment of all those dirty teams/people you see in the movies!

Ya know, The dirty coach and punk from "the karate kid"

The team that was in all black trying to kill the Mighty Ducks!

Drago, the Russian Roid-head from Rocky 4.

You get where I'm going.
If someone says the cyclo-nuts bent the rules, they probably did.

It's unfortunate, but it's the reputation they've earned for themselves.

They are an excellent team from a tactical standpoint. They have the power to get the primes and the depth to chase absolutely anything down. I have learned a lot about tactics from seeing how they function. I think they may have earned a certain reputation but it seems to be a t least a little exaggerated.
